Project Engineer / Estimating Assistant
Cold Harbor Building Company (CHBC) is a General
Contractor / Construction Manager / Design Build Contractor in the Cleveland
and North-East Ohio area. We perform a wide variety of projects for both public
and private entities, ranging from Fresh/Wastewater Treatment Plants to new
commercial construction and interior buildouts. At CHBC you would have the
opportunity to work closely with both field and office personnel to help ensure
success on each project, while working on building your career being involved
in all facets of a project including bidding, start to finish.
While responsibilities will vary depending on the task at hand, the primary job responsibilities will include:
-Manage Submittals and coordinate fabrication of equipment/materials to meet project deadlines.
-Verify with Project Superintendent that work completed by trades meets submittal and contractual requirements.
-Assist in maintaining project schedule.
-Coordinate closeout training, turnover, and O&M Manuals.
-Generate Bid Fax and review bid documents to assist in the bidding process or RFP creation.
-Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management Technology or Civil Engineering preferred.
-Minimum 3 years of experience preferred.
-A high level of computer ability with construction industry programs such as Excel, Word, Adobe and CADD.
